Set in parkland with a stream and two lakes, our chambres d’hotes bed and breakfast is about an hour south of Orleans, in a part of the Loire well known for its great forests, its pretty villages and for its food. We have five individually decorated rooms with en suite shower rooms and two guest sitting rooms, where you can read or watch television. A warm welcome, comfort and a sense of well-being are our main concern here. Bourges and Aubigny are good for shopping and eating, there are golf courses and many of the great Loire châteaux are within an hour’s drive. |

Our 18th century house is very typical of the village with mature gardens bordered by a river and a small private lake stocked with fish. We have five double or twin bedrooms with bathrooms and two suites suitable for a family or group of friends. Still privately owned, Cheverny has a splendidly classical château built by the same architects responsible for Chambord and Blois. Close to a golf course. Tours 45 kms, Paris 170 kms. |

La Métairie is typical of Touraine architecture dating from the 16th century and its original character has been carefully conserved over the years. We are near the village of Vou, surrounded by 200 hectares of private woods and small lakes with good fishing (we have row boats). The medieval town of Loches is 10 kms from here, Tours 30 kms away and we are within a reasonable drive of some of the loveliest of the Loire châteaux. Dinner available on request. |
