The Orangerie is a classical 18th century red brick country house estate between Vimoutiers and Orbec, near the little hamlet of Avernes St Gourgon, close to Le Sap. The house has a private wood and is surrounded by lawns planted with shrubs and topiary and is an ideal base for a restful few days break. There are four very comfortable rooms with bathrooms. An hour from Caen and Le Havre, two hours from Paris.

Our five en suite bedrooms are individually decorated and have tea and coffee making facilities as well as hairdryers. The house sits above the pretty village of Putanges-Pont-Écrepin and is set in peaceful walled gardens; a place to simply relax and explore this lovely area, or as a convenient stop over for a night or two. La Pomme is an equestrian estate with paddocks and stables in beautifully kept grounds, where we have three en suite bed and breakfast rooms, a library and a sitting room with television and a generous breakfast to set you up for the day. The house is very comfortable, very much a family home and a welcoming base from which to enjoy this area or as an en-route stop. Those who can bring their own horses are welcome.

Originally, the church presbytery, this 18th century house has been lovingly restored to provide comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation in a friendly, family environment. Our chambres d'hôtes bed and breakfast is in a quiet hamlet on the edge of the Marais, a wonderful wildlife reserve close to St Lô, 30 kms south of Bayeux and the D-Day Landing beaches. The area here is scattered with lovely manor houses, villages and churches, forests and a pastoral landscape where horses and dairy cattle graze. South of St Lô, the river has good trout fishing. Comfortable, welcoming, a lovely garden and a generous breakfast.

The house is an ideal base for reaching the excellent sandy beaches of Carolles and Jullouville and Mont St Michel, just a short distance south. We have two large family rooms and three double or twin rooms, all with en suite bathrooms. There is a good sized garden and pool that provides a safe environment for children, much of it given over to our animals, two ponies, a goat and a breton spaniel, who love any amount of attention. Our farmhouse is 2km from the village of Hambye, 5 km from Percy and 10 minutes from Villedieu.
