This 17th century house rests at the foot of Château de Montmirail and is regarded as one of the most beautiful buildings in the village. We have combined our love of France and the influences of our American background into restoring the house back to its former glory and opening it for the first time as a romantic bed and breakfast for couples. On a traditional, stone built farm on the estate that has been fully restored into five chambres d'hôtes bed and breakfast suites. All our suites are individually decorated and furnished, spacious and well equipped with modern comforts, which include air conditioning and internet connection. Between Angers and Saumur, an easy drive to some of the Loire châteaux.

We have a comfortable double room with an en suite bathroom with shower and tea and coffee making facilities. A second twin room makes up a suite for family or friends travelling together. Ideal at any time of year, for a few days break, a family holiday, a weekend playing golf, or as an overnight stop on the way to and from the South, you will always be warmly welcomed here. The château has been in our family for more than three hundred years. We are also passionate gardeners and have enlarged the park and created a series of lovely gardens. We have here, two guest bedrooms with bathrooms and salons with beautiful painted ceilings, and we hope to be able to welcome you into our home to enjoy the gardens and the area, the banks of the River Loire and the vineyards. Our home is in the heart of the Layon wine producing area, celebrated for its Bonnezeaux crus. We have five en suite, air-conditioned chambres d'hotes bedrooms in two, recently renovated adjacent buildings that have been classified for their comfort and charm. Each of the bedrooms have been individually decorated and comfortably furnished in a personal style. Breakfast is served in what once was the old stable block, next to the heated swimming pool. The chambres d'hôtes bed and breakfast rooms each have private bathrooms and are in the cottage buildings grouped around the courtyard of an attractive 16th century house. Apart from a generous breakfast, a home cooked dinner made from fresh local ingredients, is also available on request.
