Situated on the outskirts of the village, 15 kms from Caen, the apartment is part of one of the château buildings with a separate courtyard, screened by trees, so that it is quite private. Bayeux, the Normandy Landing Beaches, which hold memories for so many, Deauville and Trouville are all within an hour's drive. The chateau is a mixture of medieval and Renaissance architecture and has been in our family for six generations. Set in acres of wooded parkland and gardens to roam around in, the house is 15 minutes from Bergerac, in the pretty village of Lanquais. The apartment is on the second floor in the Renaissance part of the house and is completely private and independent. Furnished with comfort and charm, the cottage is privately situated in view of the lake, on a thousand acre estate in the heart of the Loire Valley. The 17th century tower is in the grounds of a family chateau in beautiful gardens, in a village close to the Dordogne and the Gironde borders. The tower has great authenticity and charm and has been made into a delightful private guest house, entirely furnished with personal, original family furniture and mementoes and surrounded by a private garden, which is sunny and peaceful, shaded by a judas tree and medlars. The cottage is on the Chateau de Vaugaudry vineyard estate just outside Chinon in the Loire Valley. It is set amongst the vines on the side of a hill on the left bank of the River Vienne within sight of the great medieval castle at Chinon, close to many of the loveliest of the Loire chateaux. Originally the old stable block dating from the 16th century set in the grounds of a château, the cottage has been made into a delightful guest house that has great authenticity and charm. It is surrounded by a beautiful, peaceful garden full of peonies and roses in May and June, followed by jasmine and fragrant heliotropes, olive and lemon trees. We are in a beautiful country location at Lafox, a village about 8 km from Agen, in the Lot et Garonne between Toulouse and Bordeaux in the South West of France. The cottage is part of the farm on the Château de Lafox estate dating from the 13th and 18th centuries, bordered by a river with a corner for private fishing (mainly trout, tench, perch, carp). There is lots of space to wander around in, where children can run around freely and farm animals they can get to know and learn about. Sleeps up to 6 people.

The dovecote has been turned into a charming hideaway cottage for couples, family or friends. Separated from the manoir by a courtyard, it has has three floors, an en suite double bedroom and a twin room. The ground floor has a bijou kitchen, a seating area with television and video and a dining area. Hairdryer provided. Glorious gardens and private fishing lake. The château is situated in the extreme north of the Pays de la Loire in the lovely Mayenne countryside bordering on Brittany and Normandy, an hour from St Malo and beaches along the coast. The Dunois is the medieval wing of the château and on three floors, linked by a 15th century winding staircase with metre thick stone walls that keep it wonderfully cool in summer. Exquisitely furnished in an harmonious marriage of traditional style and modern comfort, it has a sauna, heated swimming pool, a pool table room and a small driving range for golfers. Near a good golf course and an aero club, 20 minutes from Bergerac and the vineyards. Sleeps 6/8 people.

The cottage is part of the Manoir de la Porte estate, completely independent and very typical of the traditional architectural style of the Calvados area of Normandy with a large park to wander around in. We are 10 km from Pont l'Evêque, about 20 minutes from both Deauville, Honfleur and the beaches at Trouville and less than an hour from the Normandy Landing Beaches. Paris is 2 hours from here. Sleeps 8 to 10 people.

The mill is about a hundred metres from the main house, quite private and independent, full of character and beautifully furnished. There are acres of beautifully laid out park and gardens with centuries old trees and a unique system of canals, bordered by a river (mainly trout). We are 15 minutes from the nearest beach and a short drive from Sainte Mère-l'Eglise, one of the Normandy Landing beaches. Cherbourg is about 20 minutes from here.
