Our house is very typical of the Dordogne and lies in four hectares, surrounded by fields and woods with a marvellous variety of wildlife on the doorstep. Belle-Vue is set in seventeen hectares, surrounded by nothing except peace and beauty, in an area that is made for walking and cycling, unwinding and dawdling. Badefols sits on one of the loveliest stretches of the River Dordogne, 4 kms from the small town of Lalinde, a 30 minute drive from Bergerac. Our house is just a short walk from a village that lies between the lovely Vézère valley and the heart of the Dordogne valley, about 12 kms from Sarlat, a perfectly restored medieval town and delight to wander around.
