Set in the middle of the Montravel vineyards between Bordeaux and Bergerac, the rooms are comfortably furnished and all have private bathrooms. Our house is large and rambling, set in two acres of peaceful garden full of birdsong, a short walk from the Dordogne river, an hour from Bordeaux. The three chambres d’hotes rooms are decorated in pastel colours and furnished in a simple, modern, uncluttered style and have en suite shower rooms to match. We are only 5 km from Saint Emilion, one of the most famous of the Bordeaux wines, in an area covered with vineyards. Close to local restaurants, a beautiful lake with a beach and a golf course. The Relais lies in the midst of grapevines and woods between St Emilion and Bergerac and you will be warmly welcomed whether you come for a relaxing holiday or just for a night or two. We have a double room and a family suite, both with bathrooms and television, a swimming pool and a restaurant with delicious home made food, grown and produced on the farm. The swimming pool is surrounded by a large terrace where you can relax in the sun and daydream, have a light lunch or a romantic candlelit dinner.

Twenty kilometers from Bergerac, close to the left bank of the Dordogne river is the little village of Couze et Saint Front and the pretty Couze Valley. Belle-Vue is set in seventeen hectares, surrounded by nothing except peace and beauty, in an area that is made for walking and cycling, unwinding and dawdling. Les Cloches is a comfortably furnished gite, all on one level, set in a peaceful location with beautiful views over rolling countryside. The stone built cottage is attached to our traditional Perigordine farmhouse, but quite independent, quiet and secluded, set in spacious grounds leading to organic vines and unspoilt woodland. Our house is very typical of the Dordogne and lies in four hectares, surrounded by fields and woods with a marvellous variety of wildlife on the doorstep.
