Our house is near the village of Préchacq-les-Bains an ancient spa, which lies beside the River Ardour, about 15 km from Dax. We have two villa apartments independent of the main house, set in a lovely garden with secluded spots and a swimming pool garden. Our house is very typical of the Dordogne and lies in four hectares, surrounded by fields and woods with a marvellous variety of wildlife on the doorstep. The three chambres d'hôtes rooms, one of which has a children's bedroom, have bathrooms, lovely stone walls and beams and are furnished with country furniture and decorated with pretty fabrics. Breakfast is served in the dining room downstairs, which opens onto the garden and pool.

Twenty kilometers from Bergerac, close to the left bank of the Dordogne river is the little village of Couze et Saint Front and the pretty Couze Valley. Belle-Vue is set in seventeen hectares, surrounded by nothing except peace and beauty, in an area that is made for walking and cycling, unwinding and dawdling. The chambres d'hôtes all have private bathrooms and are in three separate houses, two in individual cottages and two in the main house. Light supper available on request.

Guibert is our tiny hill top hamlet surrounded by meadows, woodland and vineyards, 20 minutes walk to the once fortified, medieval village of Issac in the Crempse valley, 20 minutes from Bergerac. La Bergerie was originally the barn in which wine was made, now converted to a lofty, open plan living room with bedrooms in the wing. The house is at the end of a tiny country lane, so there is no traffic and safe for children. Sleeps up to 8/10 people.

The cottage is independent of the main house with a terrace overlooking the river; a perfect place for breakfast. The pool is for the exclusive use of guests and fenced with a play area for children. The cottage is on one side of the main house and completely private and independent with a garden and swimming pool. The stone walls and old beams, country furniture and pretty fabrics give the cottage much warmth and charm. The front of the house looks onto a courtyard with flowers and century old trees and over towards the paddock and stables. Behind is a garden with shady fruit trees and the pool. Sleeps 8/10 people.
