The Cher is the very heart of France, 250 km south of Paris, between the Loire Valley and Burgundy, so you have the best of all worlds. The cottage has been recently renovated with lots of warmth and charm. There is a beautiful garden with a wonderful tree house for children and a heated swimming pool. Comfortable at any time of year in a relatively undiscovered part of the Loire, where people are open and friendly. Sleeps 6/8 people.

Our Touraine longhouse is very typical of this area of the Indre et Loire, a family home with three double and family rooms, where you will be warmly welcomed. Two of the rooms have their own private entrance and they all have an en suite bathroom with shower. Ideal for a family and pleasantly comfortable for one or two people. Near to the great Château de Chenonceau and others, 45 kms from Tours. Dinner available on certain evenings.

The cottage is on the Chateau de Vaugaudry vineyard estate just outside Chinon in the Loire Valley. It is set amongst the vines on the side of a hill on the left bank of the River Vienne within sight of the great medieval castle at Chinon, close to many of the loveliest of the Loire chateaux. We will be happy to show around our cellars to taste. Hairdryer provided, please bring your own pool towels. Tours 50 minutes. Sleeps up to 6 people.

Quietly situated in countryside with four hectares of gardens where children can run about freely, about a hectare of which been made into a games area for both adults and children. Every morning the bread van arrives with fresh bread and croissants. We also keep horses on the farm. Near village markets and chateaux. Tours 45 minutes, close to many of the great Loire chateaux.
