La Métairie is typical of Touraine architecture dating from the 16th century and its original character has been carefully conserved over the years. We are near the village of Vou, surrounded by 200 hectares of private woods and small lakes with good fishing (we have row boats). The medieval town of Loches is 10 kms from here, Tours 30 kms away and we are within a reasonable drive of some of the loveliest of the Loire châteaux. Dinner available on request.
