This delightful small manor house lies in a valley by a river, 12 kms from the beaches along the coast, from where you can see the Channel Islands in the distance. The house is quite unique in this part of Normandy and the surroundings and beautiful furnishings give a tremendously romantic feeling of stepping back into the period, in a part of France where time passes by unoticed and little changes. We have two very large chambres d'hotes bed and breakfast rooms in the manoir and two bedrooms in the dovecote, situated across the courtyard, which can be taken together by couples, family or friends, all with en suite bathrooms. The Orangerie is a classical 18th century red brick country house estate between Vimoutiers and Orbec, near the little hamlet of Avernes St Gourgon, close to Le Sap. The house has a private wood and is surrounded by lawns planted with shrubs and topiary and is an ideal base for a restful few days break. There are four very comfortable rooms with bathrooms.
