The house is a family home with guest rooms designed with comfort and relaxation in mind. A delightful traditional maison bourgeois near Confolens with a large garden overlooking a swimming pool and a children's play area, where we have a large double room and family suites bed and breakfast, all with television, DVD and en suite shower rooms. About 40 minutes North of Angouleme, an hour from Poiters.

Our house is in the small hamlet of La Rallerie in the lovely Vienne Valley, a two minute walk from the picturesque River Vienne and excellent coarse fishing. We have two double bedrooms, one with an extra bed, both with bathrooms. Hairdryers and bicycles available. Near Gouex, 40 km from Poitiers. Open all year round. Ideal location for house hunters in Spring and Autumn. Collection to and from the airport can be arranged.

We will be delighted to welcome you to our beautiful 17th century vicarage just behind the pretty market town of Couhé, 20 minutes from Poitiers. Previous guests have described La Vieille Cure as being like a Country House Hotel with main rooms that have a warm, welcoming ambience and en-suite bedrooms with an individual décor and character of their own with either large king size, twin, or four poster beds.
