Furnished with comfort and charm, the cottage is privately situated in view of the lake, on a thousand acre estate in the heart of the Loire Valley. Ideal as a base from which to explore the region, or simply relax, contemplate and do some fishing. The lake, reserved only for our guests, has mainly tench, pike, perch and roach and a row boat is provided. Within reach of many of the finest châteaux and vineyards. Near Langeais, 28 km from Tours, 55 minutes by train Paris/Tours.

On a country farm set on the edge of an ancient river valley near Eymet, in the heart of the Bergerac wine region. The cottage is part of the original 17th century farmhouse, which has a secluded private garden and several acres to wander around in. Warm welcome and friendly atmosphere. The lake is stocked with perch. Near medieval towns and villages and golf courses.

The mill is about a hundred metres from the main house, quite private and independent, full of character and beautifully furnished. There are acres of beautifully laid out park and gardens with centuries old trees and a unique system of canals, bordered by a river (mainly trout). We are 15 minutes from the nearest beach and a short drive from Sainte Mère-l'Eglise, one of the Normandy Landing beaches. Cherbourg is about 20 minutes from here.

Set in peaceful, landscaped garden on the banks of the River Lot, the apartment is on the ground floor of the villa with its own private access. A gate gives access to the riverbank and room for two anglers. A limited number of rods and reels can be provided on a morning or afternoon basis. Additional equipment is available locally. Fish in the river include carp, tench, pike, trout, perch and black bass. Both the pool and access to the river are fenced with a security gate. The chateau is in a beautiful setting on the banks of the River Avre, in peaceful harmony with the surroundings; trees and parkland, water and green meadows where horses graze. There is private fishing in the canal in the grounds as well as the river. Rods provided. Self contained, independent apartment in the château, designed to give maximum comfort. Come and fish in our private lake to your heart's content. The lake has a maximum placement of 4 anglers with a maximum of 2 rods per person and is stocked with carp, roach and hybrid fish. Day or night fishing is available when the season allows. Our three double rooms have en-suite shower rooms, tea and coffee making facilities and private access. Between Eymet and Bergerac.

The house is surrounded by beautifully kept gardens, vines and fields between Condom and Eauze in Armagnac country. The lake is stocked mainly with perch, roach, catfish and carp, the fishing suitable for fun and relaxation. Some equipment provided. The mill lies peacefully beside a small river just outside a small village, about 35 km from Le Mans. The cottage is independent of the main house and furnished in a comfortable country style. The North side of the cottage looks onto a garden with lawns leading down to the river. Fish are mainly trout and pike (please bring your own equipment). You can easily walk to the village along the towpath (about 1 km) and there is private parking.

The cottage is independent of the main house with a terrace overlooking the river; a perfect place for breakfast. We have a 2 km private stretch of riverbank for those who like to fish (mainly trout). The pool is for the exclusive use of guests and fenced with a play area for children. Home comforts and a relaxed atmosphere in a haven for wildlife. Mountain bikes and canoes available. Between Brantôme and Thiviers, in an area blessed with many restaurants.

La Métairie is typical of Touraine architecture dating from the 16th century, set in lovely gardens and its original character has been carefully conserved over the years. We are surrounded by 200 hectares of private woods and small lakes with good fishing (we have row boats, please bring your own rods). Four double rooms with bathrooms. Dinner available on request. The manor farm dates from the 14th century, a group of separate houses comprising the main house, a water mill and a cottage, set in lovely gardens bordered by the River Dropt. The setting is unspoiled, peaceful and relaxed. The river meanders around several uninhabited islands. We have 400 metres of private riverbank from which to spend a day fishing and a row boat to take across to one of the islands. Bergerac 20 minutes.

The cottage and the barn beside the pool, are on part of a large farming estate with several lakes, roughly 30 minutes from Tours and Blois and within reach of several of the great Loire châteaux and vineyards. The lakes are stocked with a mixture of carp, pike and roach among others and there are a number of secluded places from which to spend a quiet day fishing. Country charm and home comforts, a heated pool, use of tennis court.

The château is situated in the extreme north of the Pays de la Loire in the lovely Mayenne countryside bordering on Brittany and Normandy, an hour from St Malo and beaches along the coast. Hidden in a pastoral park with a private fishing lake, the cottage is part of a 17th century building beside the main house, designed to give our guests peace and privacy. Laval 30 kms.

The house lies at the end of a long drive, in eighty hectares peppered with centuries old trees and a large lake that is ideal for fishing or simply idling beside with a good book, observing the wildlife it attracts. Set in a valley and woods just outside the village of Chapelle-Huon, with a large lake fed by a small river, which has good daytime and night time fishing, reserved exclusively for our guests. The lake has carp (from between 4 and 40 pounds), perch, tench, pike (several specimens of about 32 pounds) and roach. The cottage is private and independent and equipped with modern comforts while keeping its original warmth and charm. Less than an hour from some of the great Loire châteaux and the racing circuit at Le Mans. Tours 1 hour.

The extensive barns hide a tranquil lake with private fishing and large gardens surround the manoir buildings. The lake is stocked with fish of various kinds but mainly enjoyed by our guests as an afternoon of fun with a beer before a barbecue. Comfortably and attractively furnished with old country furniture he gite has been entirely restored inside with all modern comforts in the kitchen, but in keeping with its original country character. The peace of the countryside here is only broken by the murmur of the river, which is ideal for fishing. We have horses that can be hired for marvellous treks through the forest and bicycles available for the same trails.

We are in a beautiful country location at Lafox, a village about 8 km from Agen, in the Lot et Garonne between Toulouse and Bordeaux in the South West of France. The cottage is part of the farm on the Château de Lafox estate dating from the 13th and 18th centuries, bordered by a river with a corner for private fishing (mainly trout, tench, perch, carp). There is lots of space to wander around in, where children can run around freely and farm animals they can get to know and learn about.

The lake is small, about two acres, stocked with carp, pike and roach, and suitable for up to four or five anglers at any one time. There is also a row boat. This is a quiet place, unspoilt, full of wildlife and beautiful in any season, a place to return to and relax, read, walk or cycle through the forest, fish in our lake and contemplate. The cottage is on one level and independent of the main house. About 20 minutes South of Orleans, close to many of the Loire chateaux and vineyards. Paris is 90 minutes from here.

Prettily decorated in soft, harmonious colours and imaginatively furnished in a country style, the house is right on the river bank with a jetty and boat with sublime open views of the river from the terrace. A paradise for those who like fishing for carp, tench, pike and trout. There are ten acres to wander around in and a large swimming pool, which is totally private and secluded. The manor is a family home in a village in the Indre river valley, 15 minutes from Tours, close to Azay-le-Rideau, Villandry and Langeais, some of the most famous châteaux in the Loire. Set in three hectares of gardens with centuries old trees, beside the River Indre. The river has pike, pike/perch, carp, eels and other small fish.
