The manor is a family home in a village in the Indre river valley, 15 minutes from Tours, close to Azay-le-Rideau, Villandry and Langeais, some of the most famous châteaux in the Loire. Set in three hectares of gardens with centuries old trees, beside the River Indre. The river has pike, pike/perch, carp, eels and other small fish. There are four small private islands in the middle of the river. A rowboat is provided. Paris is an hour from Tours by TGV train.

The house is very typical of the region, full of character and charm, a place where you can dawdle, daydream and regain a sense of peace. We have over twenty acres to roam around in with a small lake stocked mainly with trout. The house is quite independent from the main house and has its own private pool. Bergerac centre 7 km.

Furnished with comfort and charm, the cottage is privately situated in view of the lake, on a thousand acre estate in the heart of the Loire Valley. Ideal as a base from which to explore the region, or simply relax, contemplate and do some fishing. The lake, reserved only for our guests, has mainly tench, pike, perch and roach and a row boat is provided. Within reach of many of the finest châteaux and vineyards. Near Langeais, 28 km from Tours, 55 minutes by train Paris/Tours.

Set in a valley and woods just outside the village of Chapelle-Huon, with a large lake fed by a small river, which has good daytime and night time fishing, reserved exclusively for our guests. The lake has carp (from between 4 and 40 pounds), perch, tench, pike (several specimens of about 32 pounds) and roach. The cottage is private and independent and equipped with modern comforts while keeping its original warmth and charm. Less than an hour from some of the great Loire châteaux and the racing circuit at Le Mans. Tours 1 hour.

The house lies at the end of a long drive, in eighty hectares peppered with centuries old trees and a large lake that is ideal for fishing or simply idling beside with a good book, observing the wildlife it attracts. Fully restored with modern comforts with three en suite bedrooms. Close to several excellent golf courses. Mont Saint Michel 17 kms, Saint Malo 30 minutes, Dinard 45 kms.

The cottage and the barn beside the pool, are on part of a large farming estate with several lakes, roughly 30 minutes from Tours and Blois and within reach of several of the great Loire châteaux and vineyards. The lakes are stocked with a mixture of carp, pike and roach among others and there are a number of secluded places from which to spend a quiet day fishing. Country charm and home comforts, a heated pool, use of tennis court.

La Métairie is typical of Touraine architecture dating from the 16th century, set in lovely gardens and its original character has been carefully conserved over the years. We are surrounded by 200 hectares of private woods and small lakes with good fishing (we have row boats, please bring your own rods). Four double rooms with bathrooms. Dinner available on request. The cottage is independent of the main house with a terrace overlooking the river; a perfect place for breakfast. We have a 2 km private stretch of riverbank for those who like to fish (mainly trout). The pool is for the exclusive use of guests and fenced with a play area for children. Home comforts and a relaxed atmosphere in a haven for wildlife. Mountain bikes and canoes available. Between Brantôme and Thiviers, in an area blessed with many restaurants.
