Our home is in Boutenac, a small vineyard village in the middle of the Corbières vineyards, which produces a range of red, white and rosé wines and has its own appellation controlée. We have two comfortable double rooms, each with a shower room, which can be taken individually or together as a suite, for a family or friends travelling together. Narbonne is 20 minutes from here and the Mediterranean beaches are just beyond. Carcassonne is 30 minutes away and the Spanish border is an hour's drive.

The house is surrounded by beautifully kept gardens, vines, woodland and fields and has a large swimming pool and a lake stocked with fish. The vines produce Armagnac for the Chateau Pomiro appellation as well as Floc, a delicious aperitif peculiar to the Gers. We have five bed and breakfast double rooms with private bathrooms in the chateau and three in a separate cottage on the estate. Comfort and an attention to detail are our main concern. The cottage is on the Chateau de Vaugaudry vineyard estate just outside Chinon in the Loire Valley. It is set amongst the vines on the side of a hill within sight of the great medieval castle at Chinon, close to many of the loveliest of the Loire chateaux. Most of our wines are red, some of the best known in the Loire, although we also make a light, fresh rosé. They include Plessis-Gerbault made from the vines around the cottage, a special reserve aged in oak; delicious when young, even better with age. We will be happy to show around our cellars to taste. Surrounded by the plants and scents of Provence, the rooms are air-conditioned, comfortably furnished with provençal oak furniture and have ensuite shower rooms. Only 10 minutes from the pleasures of Avignon and within reach of Carpentras, the villages of the Luberon, markets, restaurants and vineyards. Bessons lies at the heart of our vineyard, which has been in our family now since 1850 and we will be delighted to show you around to see how we make cognac and pineau here and of course, taste it! All our rooms are big, sunny and furnished with old traditional Charentaise furniture. Each has a private bathroom with either a shower or a bath. There is also a small lake with private fishing. Les Farcies lies in the heart of the Pécharmant vineyards 2 kms north of Bergerac, a fine 18th century château set in eight hectares of lovely park and gardens. Each of the bedrooms have been decorated and furnished in keeping with the style and period of the château and have private bathrooms and satellite television. We hope that you will enjoy this little corner of paradise and enjoy too, discovering the pleasures of our wines and our region.

A mix of modern comfort and traditional charm in an 18th century Mas bastide in the Provence Drôme, bordering on the Vaucluse. The house lies amongst its own vines just outside Saint-Restitut, a quiet, pretty village 20 km from Orange, at the beginning of the vineyards that stretch as far as Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Les Marcellines produces its own AOC wine from the mono Syrah grape, which has a good robust character. Sleeps up to 14 people.

Set on our own vineyard in the middle of the Montravel vineyards between Bordeaux and Bergerac, the rooms are comfortably furnished and all have private bathrooms. It's easy from here to spend a day in the Dordogne finding a market or wandering around the villages and another, visiting the Bordeaux vineyards. Swimming pool. St Emilion 35 km, Bergerac 22 km.

This lovely 18th century château lies beside the River Layon at the heart of its own vineyards, which produce some of the best wines in Anjou. We make our wines from the Chenin Blanc, Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon and Grollet grape from the vineyards that surround the house and they are recognised as one of the premiere appellations. It is a house where the charms of a bygone age harmonise with luxurious present day comforts and a delightful place to stay, to enjoy something of our way of life for a while.
