La Villa Mansart
Our spacious 19th century house is situated in the town of Perreux-sur-Marne, 8 kms to the east of Paris, in the beautiful Val-de-Marne area. The house is quiet, comfortable and ideally placed near the capital and for visits to Disneyland Paris. Le Perreux is a small town situated on a loop of the River Marne with some lovely walks along the tow paths, which has a variety of shops, a weekly market and a dozen restaurants to choose from. There is easy access into Paris via fast, frequent RER trains. We have private parking in the garage and a large garden to relax in after day in the city.
There are two guest rooms on either side of a sitting room especially reserved for our guests on the top floor of the house, which can be taken either individually, or as a suite by a family or group of friends. The whole of this floor has been newly decorated and furnished with antique family furniture.
La chambre Vanille, is a double room with a bathroom with shower and wc. La chambre Azur is a large double room with an extra single bed and a bathroom with shower. The sitting room has television and two single beds for extra guests if needed. A continental breakfast with pastries and home made jams is served in the dining room or out on the terrace in summer. The pleasures of Paris are only 8 minutes away on the motorway, or 20 minutes on the RER metro line and Disneyland Paris is a 15 minute drive. Vincennes has an ancient château, a forerunner of Versailles, which has a 12th century dungeon and a 16th century chapel and you can go riding and walking in the Bois de Vincennes, which was laid out in the 19th century as a park in the style of Capability Brown. Versailles, Fontainebleau, Vaux-le-Vicomte and the old fortified town of Provins, are all within reasonable distance from us. We know Paris and this area intimately and will be happy to help you with anything you need to know. Travel Information
