The interior is open plan, with the original beams, stone walls and cow manger having been preserved. The living area is stylish and warm with a dining area, and fully equipped kitchen. A double and two single sofa beds are available in the main living area. A television, DVD player, CD, radio, books and games are provided. We have a wide selection of DVD’s which we are happy to lend to guests during their visit.

An open plan staircase leads to a mezzanine bedroom with a large 160cm x 200cm double bed.

The bathroom is modern with a fully tiled walk in shower and heated towel rail, washbasin and wc. The kitchen is fully equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, gas stove, microwave and refrigerator. Sheets and towels are provided (including swimming towels) as well as two towelling dressing gowns. A cot and high chair are available if required.

We also provide a starter pack to get you through your first night without having to go shopping as soon as you arrive. This includes the basics like salt, pepper, matches, toilet paper and kitchen roll, eggs, butter, bread and jam.

We are on the edge of the Cahors wine growing area and close to Bergerac, so there are many local vineyards, which offer tastings. Our favourite wine, Le Vin du Tsar, offers all our guests a small sample of its red and rosé wine. Lacapelle-Biron, our nearest village, has a small supermarket open seven days a week, a baker, an excellent butcher, chemist and garage. There are two very good restaurants with menus starting at €10. Monpazier, Monflanquin, Villeréal and Fumel all have cafés and restaurants, supermarkets, hairdressers, chemists and banking facilities.
