The ground floor of the house has a fully equipped modern kitchen and a lovely bright, airy living room. Both of these rooms have double doors that open out to views of the village and the countryside beyond. There is also a toilet on the ground floor.

The master bedroom is on the first floor and has a double bed, wardrobe and two bedside lights. We have kept the original fireplace, which now makes very useful storage space. The window opens onto a view to the front of the house over the village and countryside. The family bathroom has both bath and separate shower.

A second bedroom is located in the converted attic, via a newly installed spiral staircase. This is a twin room and although we have decorated the room with children in mind, there is no reason why the room may not be used by adults. There is ample head height and the beds are full size single beds. There is also a television in this room.

On the large landing on the first floor is a fold-down single sofa bed. This is a very comfortable bed, although the landing is of course, not private.

The house benefits from a sizeable garden. There is a small splash pool for kids and ample space for adults to sit and relax while supervising or tending the barbeque. The garden has lovely views of the Dordogne countryside.
