Val d’Isère is one of the world’s greatest ski resorts, known locally as La Grande Dame. The village has kept its original charm and typical Savoyard architecture, and is in a stunning setting of contrasting green fir trees and white snow. There are numerous sports to enjoy and events and cultural facilities throughout the year. Shops, supermarkets, restaurants, bars, a nightclub and ski hire shops are all within a short distance of the chalets. Airports at Lyon and Geneva are 2 hours from here. Coach transfers to and from Val d'Isère are available at both airports.
The chalet apartments are situated in the peaceful Laisinant area of Val d'Isère at the foot of the 'Mattis' and 'L' runs . The 4 star apartments have been stylishly designed and are quiet, spacious and comfortable. A free shuttle service provides quick access to ski lifts and to the centre of Val d'Isère in minutes. At an altitude of 1850m, the Val d'Isère ski area has 137 runs, 44 km of cross-country skiiing, 2 snow parks, 2 half pipes, 2 mogul stadiums. Summer brings a different world and activities such as hiking and climbing, white water sports, tennis, golf and paragliding.
All the apartments have television, wifi Internet access and a balcony or terrace. The kitchen is fully equipped with 4 ceramic hobs, multifunction oven, hood, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle and toaster. The 2, 3 and 4 bedroom apartments have a shower room in addition to the bathroom. The 1 bedroom apartments have a bathroom with shower. There are heated towels rails and beds are made up ready for arrival. One apartment is available for those with reduced mobility. A Catering Service is available with a variety of menus to choose from, including breakfast. The hampers are delivered directly to your apartment. There is a day nursery in the village for children age 3 and over (children collected from your appartment and taken to and from the day nursery free of charge). The Children’s Village has half day, full day or week long packages, with or without lunch and provides a fun and educational snow area for 3 to 8 year olds and varied indoor and outdoor leisure and early learning activities, as well as beginner and advanced ski lessons. After ski activities include a whole range of activities: Husky dog sledding, snow shoe walks, cross-country skiing, paragliding, ski-joering (horse drawn skiing), snowbikes, ice racing (quads, karting, snowbike, car), hangliding, microlighting, ice climbing, introductory helicopter flights. Le Rocher de Bellevarde has breathtaking 360° views of Val d’Isère and Grande Sassière, Tsanteleina and the glaciers that are the source of the Isère (accessible by cable-car). La Tête du Solaise has panoramic views of Mount Pourri, La Grande Motte and the Pointe de la Sana. All prices are per week Saturday to Saturday, arriving at 5pm departing at 10am There is a reception lounge and ski locker room. Main reception is open: Sunday to Friday from 8 am to 11 am and 5 pm to 7 pm. Saturday from 8 am to 11 am and 2 pm to 8 pm. Closed on Wednesday.
