Le Quartz
The Le Quartz apartments are in Belle Plagne at heart of the Grand Plagne ski area, two hours from Chambéry or Geneva. They have recently been refurbished and offer mid-to-high range one or two bedroom apartments that are both spacious and comfortable. The residence is just 150m from the ski lifts and has ski-in, ski-out access. Services include ski lockers, a children's play area, Well Being spa services, a bakery delivery service and a catering delivery service. Shops, bars, restaurants and night clubs are minutes away.
La Plagne is a unique ski area in the heart of the Tarentaise, opposite Mont-Blanc. It is a group of interconnected high-altitude village resorts at elevations ranging from 1,250 to 2,100 m. Belle Plagne is lively, family-orientated, an ideal starting point for the glacier and harmoniously combines architecture and a friendly atmosphere in a beautiful setting. All the apartments have a fully equipped kitchen area: 4 ceramic hobs, refrigerator, microwave-grill oven, dishwasher, electric coffee-maker, a bathroom or shower room, telephone, Internet and television. All beds are fitted with duvets (bed linen and towels included in the price) and there is either a balcony or terrace.
The one bedroom apartments have a living area with a double sofa-bed and a bedroom with 2 single beds. (Note: some apartments are mezzanine with 1 double bed on the mezzanine floor, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds and 1 single sofa-bed in the living area). The two bedroom apartments have a living area with 1 single bed and 1 pull-down bed, a bedroom with 2 single beds and a bedroom with 1 double bed. These apartments have a shower room, plus an additional separate toilet. (Note: some duplex apartments have 1 bedroom with 1 double bed, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, living area with 2 single sofa-beds, 1 bathroom, 1 shower room, separate toilet). For total calm and relaxation, the beauty care and fitness centre has spa balneotherapy and relaxation sessions.
The Area
Apart from downhill and cross-country skiing, other sports include snow quad and snow scooters, tobogganing, a climbing wall in Plagne Centre, a skating rink and a outdoor heated swimming pool in Plagne-Bellecôte, and bowling. The Olympic bobsleigh run is open to people over 18 years.
