Bleue Océane Apartments
The Bleue Océane apartments overlook the sea in Port en Drô close to Carnac within walking distance of the beach. Water sports include sand yachting, windsurfing, sailing, jet-skiing, water skiing, banana rides, ringo riding, diving. Lots of fun for families and friends from Easter through the summer until early autumn and ideal just as a relaxing break or a golfing holiday, for couples or a group of friends at any time of year. A choice of shops, restaurants and bistros, beaches and the beautiful Golf du Morbihan are on the doorstep. Lorient and Vannes are roughly 35 minutes drive.
Each studio apartment has a living room with a double sofa bed that can converted into twin beds and 2 bunk beds in the entrance hall, separated from the living room by a door. There is television and a fully-equipped open-plan kitchen with a hob, fridge, microwave, dishwasher and coffee-maker. The bathroom has a bath/shower and toilet.
Carnac's beaches (the main beach, the beaches of Légenèse, Ty Bihan, Saint-Colomban and Beaumer) are wonderfully sheltered by the Quiberon peninsula. Water sports include, sailing, sand yachting, a sailing school, sea fishing, a sea kayak school, windsurfing, jet-skiing, water skiing, banana rides, ringo riding, diving. The Area
The Quiberon flying-club offers excursion flights, parascending and gives individual flying lessons. The Saint Laurent golf course is 18-holes, there are riding stables, cycle hire, quad and pocket-bike, squash courts and tennis courts. The marshes around Carnac are protected and attract many migrating sea birds. The Megaliths of Carnac are famous standing stones (menhirs, dolmens and tumuli) around Carnac; admission is from November to March only, in order to protect the environment. The Morbihan also has numerous megalithic sites, including some of the most famous: the "Cairn de Gavrinis", the "Grand Menhir Brisé" and the "Table des Marchands" in Locmariaquer. The prehistoric museum in Carnac has the world's most extensive prehistory collection. The Gulf of Morbihan has a thousand little islands, most uninhabited and you can take boat excursions to Belle-Ile-en-Mer, Hoëdic and Houat. La Ria d'Etel, 13 km away, is a small, wild and mysterious inland sea of unusual beauty, scattered with islands and islets. During the summer season, there are several regattas, various Fest Noz (Breton dance evenings), sports tournaments (tennis, petanque, fishing) and Pardons (processions and village fetes). Other events include "Sand Sculpture" (introduction and design workshop), in July, (anyone can take part). In July/August, the "Place aux Mômes" Children’s Festival and the "Contes et Légendes" Stories and Legends Festival take place. Travel Information
